In this episode of Makela Space, we are honoured to enter the presence of Yvette Mutumba — curator, writer, and artistic director of Contemporary And (C&). We also hold the space for the ancestors: Koyo Kouoh(1967-2025) and Melvin Edwards(1937-2026). Woven through: radio art, Hörspiel experiments, and echoes from Daughters of Africa and the cinema of Ousmane Sembène(1923-2007). A conversation tuned to resonance and refusal — as we continue to explore the space within the space, and the radical act of listening.
